The Cotter Reserve welcome visitors to picnic, walk and camp. The Cotter
Reserve near Cotter Dam is just 22 km west of Canberra. There is an artificial
lake that was the original reservoir built to serve the then new capital. You
can swim in the Murrumbidgee Rivers.
