Welcome to Namadgi National Park accommodation. Located south of Canberra, in
the south-western part of the Australian Capital Territory, the national park
borders the Kosciuszko National Park of New South Wales. The national park
protects a significant part of the territory, making up more than half of the Australian Capital Territory
region, covering some 105,900 hectares. A sub-alpine region, with the Australian
Alps at the northern end, there are spectacular granite mountains, grass plains,
alpine meadows and gum forest.
With plenty of recreational activities, the park also has some designated
camping areas. |
