There is much to do, including bushwalking, mountain biking,
sailing, canoeing and fishing. The dam is stocked with rainbow
trout, golden and silver perch and Murray Cod. The Foreshores
provide a wildlife corridor between the Tinderry Mountains and Lake
George which is a refuge for many of the flora and fauna.
London Bridge Archway is a natural arch of limestone pitted by
caves, created over time by water leaking through cracks in the
limestone. In a setting of native grassland and woodland, the
archway straddles the Burra Creek
London Bridge Woolshed, Shearers Quarters and Homestead provide
a visual history of farming and settlement in the area and give an
insight into farming life at the turn of the century. |
