Echunpa — Goanna

This painting represents the Goanna which is a traditional source of food. It is also used for medicine, extracting the oil from it's body, mixed with bush medicine leaves.

This is the goanna on spinifex country, the circles representing the different entrances into the goanna burrow - the radiating lines is the spinifex grass.
