Goanna calling for rain

The ‘Old People’ say when you see a goanna climbing up a tree or old log, it is calling for rain, to bring life back to the land, calling to the spirits who maybe willing to listen and send rain.

This commissioned piece for a private collector, was based on a photo that they had taken during their journey through Australia. The work measures approximately 1230 x 730.
