The (Wanambi) Rainbow Serpent travels through the storm. The old people say that when you see a big bright lightning stretch across the sky, that’s Wanambi going to another water hole.

When we go on outings to water holes we know to treat that place with respect and be cautious as Wanambi is down below watching and waiting.
