The Story of the Goanna and the Perentie

Long ago, the Goanna and Perentie were best friends. One day they decided to paint one another. The Perentie painted all sorts of pretty designs on the Goanna and when it was the Goanna's turn to paint the Perentie, he just painted big yellow blobs, and this upset the Perentie.

To this day they are enemies over what happened in the Dreamtime.
