We wanted to stay overnight at the Dubbo Zoofari Lodge, but you
needed to book this months in advance. So we opted to do the Early
Morning Walk and booked into the nearest accommodation to the park
(Dubbo Cabin and Caravan Parklands).
The morning walk was a good idea. The mist rising off the water and
the ring-tailed lemurs sunning themselves in the morning sun.
After the walk, we hired a couple of bikes and saw the rest of the
zoo on wheels.
