The Wellington Gateway

At the Wellington Gateway, located just 5 km south of Wellington was this fantastic sculpture.

We went to see the Wellington-Osawano Japanese Gardens before our cave tours.

The Thirteen Storey Tower is a representation of prosperity.

Did a couple of cave tours including the phosphate mine tour. It was amazing to see the phosphate glow when the lights were turned off. The caves are also famous for the fossil remains, providing palaeontological evidence from a bygone era.
