We decided to stay in Bathurst for a night, and found Box Grove Settlers Cottages. We stayed in this great converted train carriage on the family farm out on the outskirts of Bathurst. Our host and hostess were really friendly and it was wonderful watching the beautiful sunsets, and awakening to cool, misty mornings. We extended our stay for four days.

Bathurst of course, wasn’t complete without a visit to Mount Panorama and laps of the track.
