A trip on the Ghan from Sydney to Adelaide in South Australia, is the only way to go. We booked our trip through Stacey at the Sydney Town Hall CountryLink office. We would liked to thank Stacey for being so helpful and attentive to our needs.

When you depart from a station like Central Station, you know you are embarking on a holiday.

As we had never been on the Ghan before, we did not know what to expect... we had our own sleeper, the food was just great, and the staff were so helpful and friendly, it was as if we were old friends.

It was definitely the way to ease into our holiday. It was so enjoyable that we were looking forward to the train ride back on the Indian Pacific.
