The kingdom Animalia or Metazoa encompasses the major group of organisms that in
general are multicellular, and all are heterotrophs (ie they rely directly or
indirectly on other organisms for their nourishment). In biological context, the
group include homo sapiens. Our aim here is not to reproduce the myriad of information that is available in
print and on the internet for the web of life, but to provided some information, with images of
living organisms that can be found here in Australia.
