Wallaroos
These are our medium to large herbivorous animals, that can often be seen in their
natural environment on rocky slopes, escarpments and ranges throughout
Australia.
Names can sometimes be confusing. West of the Great Dividing Range they are known as the Euro,
whilst in Western Australia they can be called Hill Kangaroo. Of course here in
Central Australia they are also described
locally as Hills Wallaroos and Common Wallaroo. |
