This Queensland Silver Wattle is a tall shrub/small tree found in coastal or near-coastal sandy sites between Brisbane and Rockhampton, also on Blackdown tableland and nearby ranges. Soft, silver phyllodes, golden ball-shaped flowers that appear usually in late winter. Widely cultivated as it will tolerate a wide variety of soils and climates. It is becoming a serious weed of natural plant communities around Sydney.
