Leucospermum oleifolium

Leucospermum, also commonly called Pincushion or Pincushion Protea is a genus of about 50 species of flowering plants in the family Proteaceae.

The flowers or inflorescences of the Leucospermum oleifolium are in clusters of up to five individual flower heads. The flowers open as a pale yellow coloration that changes to orange, then crimson to deep red. The inflorescences have large numbers of prominent styles, hence the reference to 'pincushion'.
