Waratahs belong to the genus Telopea, family Proteaceae, producing bright red
flowers during spring. This beautiful flower is very popular, often found in
native floral arrangements because of its striking appearance. There are also white, pink and yellow flowers, having
been selected and/or bred in cultivation. There are 5 species of
Telopea including:
