The Wire-leaf Mistletoe is a member of the Loranthaceae (Mistletoe Family).

A widespread mistletoe, found mainly on acacias, this mistletoe has needle-like leaves of 2-8 cm x 1-2 mm. The flowers hang down in 2 to 3 clusters. The flowers are red, about 2-3 cm long with separate petals that curve backwards. The round berries are pink, white or red.
