There are a number of small independent cinemas, as well as the
larger cinema chains throughout Australia.
There are also a number of festival and events that are held on a
regular basis, throughout Australia that incorporate outdoor movie sessions, such as the under the
stars and moonlight cinema held in Sydney. Locations include the
Royal Botanic Gardens, Centennial Park, Bondi Beach, and North Sydney Oval.
Usually these events are part of a larger festival. Following is a list of
cinemas. For those festival events and their locations, keep an eye on your
local newspapers and where available check their website for details. |
