The Northern Territory encompasses ‘Central Australia’ and the ‘Top End’ with a
coastline that borders the Timor Sea, Van Diemen Gulf, Arafura Sea and the Gulf
of Carpentaria. Some of the more well known island include
Islands, Bathurst Island,
and Melville Island.
