Historic Walking Tour, it takes in the Former Mortuary (now the Chapel of the
Resurrection) was constructed in 1868. The building was converted to a chapel

Victoria's Central Highlands in this unique railway experience on the 120 year
old Daylesford branch line of the former Victorian Railways. See and ride
restored trains up to 70 years old from the Home of Victorian Railmotors.
The Tourist Railway is a living museum of railway history, registered in the
Museum Accreditation Program. Enquire at Daylesford Station about our ongoing
displays of railway history and our restorations and preservation projects.
Train services and special trains include:
- Sunday excursion trains every Sunday of the year.
- Charter trains by arrangement.
- Champagne Train, the Silver Streak!
Pre-dinner drinks and savouries on board the train.

Mount Warrenheip, just 8 kilometres east of Ballarat on the Western Highway.
Come and enjoy the experience of life in the Medieval Days. Attractions include
daily live medieval re-enactments, magic shows, archery, a bluestone maze, and
live birds of prey (on weekends and holidays). There is also a fine collection
of arms and armour, a torture chamber, dungeons, a comical graveyard, an
exposition of the Magna Carta and jousting in season. Kryal Castle is also an
ideal venue for your next conference or wedding - with the tavern offering the
setting for a superb night - with Royal Accommodation available for function
guests or casual travellers. The castle building itself is a vast complex of
gothic towers, turrets, parapets and battlements, complete with moat and
drawbridge.
