Australia.gov.au
An entry point in providing you with
easy access to government information and services. Currently connects you to
nine major sites on the following topics: agriculture; business; culture and
recreation; education; employment; families; regional; science and industry; and
youth. Other sites are in development. The nine major sites are structured as a
'portal' - a directory of Internet sites and services. Each portal focuses on a
particular topic, while
australia.gov.au serves as the starting point for them all. Future
developments of topics include: community groups; environment; health;
immigration; indigenous; law and justice; seniors and women. Although mainly
focussed on information about Federal Government resources, will also be adding
links to State and Local Government sites.
