Camden Haven is one of those places surrounded in natural beauty, with spectacular coastal and valley views. The quiet and extensive waterways offer great fishing and boating. There are surf beaches and family friendly beaches, wonderful national parks, great walking and cycling opportunities and a bird watching delight.

The seaside village of Camden Head sits along the mouth of the Camden Haven River, whilst on the north side of the river is North Haven. Just south-west of North Haven, connected by a bridge is Laurieton, nestled at the foot of North Brother Mountain. Opposite Laurieton is the sleepy Dunbogan, home to the Camden Head Pilot Station, now a heritage restored property that also offers accommodation.
