Covering some 2,000 square km from the picturesque Hawkesbury River
in the south, to Lake Macquarie in the north, and inland to Yarramalong Valley
and its most southerly Pearl Beach and Patonga Beach, it offers spectacular
coastline with long surf beaches, forested hinterland, lakes and inland
waterways.

The Central Coast is the third largest urban area in New South Wales
administered by Gosford City Council and Wyong Shire Council. It is a region
that is stretches from the Hawkesbury River in the south, the Watagan Mountains
in the west and the southern end of Lake Macquarie in the north. |
