Yamba and Iluka headlands. It is part of the Shire of Maclean and the Northern
Rivers region. The Clarence is part of an amazing delta system that starts in
the Queensland's McPherson Ranges. Fed by many tributaries, the Clarence flows
pass over a hundred islands, before flowing into the ocean between Yamba and
Coastal towns and villages in the region include Angourie, Brooms
Head, Corindi Beach, Diggers Camp, Iluka, Minnie Water, Red Rock, Sandon, Wooli,
Yamba. Some of the hinterland and river towns and villages include Chatsworth,
Coutts Crossing, Copmanhurst, Glenreagh,
Grafton (city), Harwood, Jackadgery,
Junction Hill, Lawrence, Maclean, Nymboida, and Woombah.
