Curlwaa, New South Wales (NSW), Australia. Curlwaa is approximately 5 km to
the east of
Wentworth on the Murray River. Curlwaa has a local caravan
park and the picturesque ODonnell Park on the banks of the Murray, named after
Larry ODonnell, a prominent local who worked tirelessly for the good of the
settlement and its industries, particularly those of dried fruits, water and
salinity issues. n the park is a monument erected in 1959 to thank and
recognised all those who worked tirelessly to save Curlwaa from inundation of
the 1956 flood waters.
