Base yourself here with us whilst you explore the magnificence of the Barrington
Tops World Heritage Wilderness and enjoy the many varied activities available in

Cobark Station is a fully operational cattle station situated 34 kilometres west of Gloucester
in the foothills of the world famous Barrington Tops. All cattle work is still
conducted in the old-fashioned way on horseback with working dogs.
Camp Cobark offers you guided leisurely trail rides with other horse lovers over
these mountain trails, through crystal clear mountain streams whilst you enjoy
the panoramic views and wildlife sightings in the foothills of the Barrington
Tops and Cobark valley.

Devils Hole Camping Ground
• Accommodation:
campsite suitable for camper trailers; camping beside your vehicle. It is not
suitable for caravans.
• Details:
located in the northern part of the park. This basic
campground, at 1,400 m altitude, offers spectacular views over the Barrington
wilderness and nearby farmlands

Junction Pools Camping Ground
• Accommodation:
campsite suitable for camping beside your vehicle. It is not suitable for
caravans or camper trailers.
• Details:
located in the northern part of the park. You'll find
swimming spots at this campground. It's close to walking tracks on the
Barrington Tops Plateau, drive touring, lookouts, fishing and 4WD trails.

Gloucester River Camping Ground

located west of Gloucester. A picturesque camping area,
providing an ideal base to explore this part of the park.

Polblue Camping Area
• Accommodation:
campsite suitable for caravans, camper trailers, camping beside your vehicle.
• Details:
located in the northern part of the park, an hour and a half from either
Gloucester (70 km) or Scone (76 km). A roomy campground
in pleasant sub-alpine woodland, at 1,450 m altitude. It offers short and
inspiring walks passing through snow gum woodland, tall eucalypt forest and
areas of high-altitude swamp.

Horse Swamp Camping Area

Cummi Falls Camping Area
• Accommodation:

located in the northern part of the park on Bullocky Brush Trail.

Little Murray Camping Area
• Accommodation:
campsite suitable for camper trailers, camping beside your vehicle. It is not
suitable for caravans.
• Details:
located on the edge of Little Murray Swamp, in the north of the park.

Wombat Creek Campground
• Accommodation:
campsite suitable for those who want to camp a long way from their car.
• Details:
a walk-in campground in the northern section of the park.
Wombat Creek is one of a number of bushwalking campsites in the park, but it's
the only one with toilets. It's a great base for exploring the Barrington Tops
plateau, and is only a few kilometres walk from Careys Peak.
There are bushwalking campsites at Black Swamp, The Mountaineer and Wombat
Creek.
