Relax by the Capertee River at this secluded campground. Swim in river pools, or
go bird watching along the Capertee River Trail. The river is usually shallow
but if the water is high after rain, you can try your hand at liloing. Picnic

Ganguddy (Dunns Swamp) Camping Ground
Details:
On the western side of the park is this popular
car-camping area. The scenic waterways of the Cudgegong River provide fishing, swimming
canoeing and bird watching. There are 50 sites. Non-flush toilets, wood

Newnes Camping Ground
Details:
On the western side of the park is this grassy flat surrounded by dramatic
sandstone cliffs.

Wheeny Creek Camping Ground
Details:
On the eastern side of the park is this scenic camping and picnic area. There
are three camping areas - Kingfisher, Boobook and Cheese Tree, plus two day use
areas - Lomandra and Lyrebird. Flush toilets, wood barbecues (bring your own
firewood).

Details:
On the western side of the park is this scenic camping area near the wild and
beautiful Colo River. Check river levels before visiting as the river can flood.

Deep Pass Camping Area
Details:
An attractive, grassy flat nestled between pagoda rock formations and low
cliffs. The camping area is close to a small canyon which you can explore on a
short walk upstream along the fern-lined Nayook Creek. If you head downstream
you can see Split Rock. The camping area can accommodate up to 40 people.
