Details:
Yerranderie Village is a Privately Owned Ghost Town. It is set in an Historic
Silver Mining area, listed on the register of the National Estate and in a large
private sanctuary abounding with mobs of grey forrester kangaroos, wombats,
wallabies, walleroos and mountain birds in natural bushland. It is the hub of a
scenic walking area adjacent to the wilderness. Policies are similar to National
Parks so leave your pets and firearms at home.
Remember Yerranderie is in an isolated area. There is no petrol or food for
sale. Don't forget warm clothes. Even in summer when the days are hot the nights
can become cool.
Please ensure you phone before setting out, especially if requiring
accommodation, camping, road, weather or fire restriction information. All
rubbish is to be taken out on your return journey.
