Mount Kaputar Camping & Caravan

Bark Hut Campground

• Accommodation: Unpowered, fees payable on site via honour box system.
• Facilities: picnic tables, gas/electric barbecues, wood barbecues (bring your own firewood), flush toilets, hot showers, amenities block, drinking water (contact the NPWS Narrabri Area Office to find out if the water is drinkable).
• Details: The Scutts Hut and Euglah Rock Lookout walking tracks start from near this campground. If you're planning to use the wood barbecues, you'll need to bring your own firewood. This campground is about 6 km before the Mount Kaputar summit on the main access road.

Mount Kaputar Self-contained

Dawsons Spring Cabins

• Ph: 02 6792 7300 (Bookings essential and can be made up to six months in advance.)
• Accommodation: There are three self-contained cabins available for hire. Manning and Logan cabins sleep up to 6 adults each. The third cabin, Dickson, is suitable for 2 adults and 1 small child.
• Facilities: The cabins are in an ideal location, especially during winter, with large windows looking out on giant snow gums draped in mist. Each cabin has a large fridge, stove-top, microwave oven, crockery, cutlery, toaster, jug, pots and pans. Cabins have wood fires and firewood is provided. You'll need to bring sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, tea towels, food and personal effects.
• Details: The cabins often booked out, sometimes up to six months in advance, especially on weekends and public holidays. Bookings during the week and in the off-peak periods are more likely. Camp sites are readily available.
