Armidale is situated almost mid way between Sydney
and Brisbane on the New England Highway and about two hours drive
from the coast along the Waterfall Way.
With its rich European
settlement history there are many fine heritage buildings,
cathedrals and grand pastoral homesteads. Situated close to vast
gorge country and the spectacular wilderness of the Great Dividing
Range, there is much to see and do when you make Armidale your base
from which to view the surrounding countryside.
