A suburb of Tweed Heads, Banora Point is situated in the Tweed River estuary.
Located just over 7 km from Coolangatta, across the Queensland border, Banora
Point enjoys a sub-tropical climate, being part of the Tweed Coast, and a 35 km
region of beaches that stretch from Fingal to Wooyung. This ideal location
offers not only access to a number of aquatic activities, but is known as a

to do a bit of bird watching. Birds that have been spotted in the region include
the Rainbow Bee-eater, Scarlet Honeyeater, Forest Kingfisher, Variegated
