Just 37 km north of Bathurst is the Buurree Walking Trail, situated in the
Wattle Flat Heritage Lands. The leisurely walk will take approximately three
hours.
Major works have been undertaken throughout the Heritage Lands to combat
soil erosion. You will enjoy the wildlife, including the many wild flowers and
when you reach the summit ridgeline, there is a wonderful vista looking north
towards
Sofala and the Turon Valley.
