Kurrajong - Cities, Towns and Localities |
|
Nestled in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range just west of Sydney and
part of both the Blue Mountains
region and the
Hawkesbury Highlands /
Hawkesbury
Valley of the
Hawkesbury River region, Kurrajong village is a great little stopover for those heading over the
ranges to Lithgow and beyond. As
well as the local regional attractions to be found in the Blue Mountains,
Kurrajong offers a relaxing place to browse through the antique and craft style
shops, cafes and restaurants or stay in some of the great accommodation places
on offer. From Kurrajong Heights and Bowen Mountain are panoramic views
through to Sydney, with great views of the Grose River and Valley to be had from
the Vale of Avoca.
