Valley Heights - Cities, Towns and Localities
Valley Heights is a small town in the Blue Mountains between Springwood and Warrimoo. It is a historic railway town, and there is a rail museum where the old turntable was located, just above the station.

Distance from Sydney: 70 km
Height above Sea Level: 321 m

Brief History
The station was originally built for the colonial treasurer, Geoffrey Eagar, who lived where Valley Heights is now. The station was named Eagars Platform. In 1877, public facilities were added and the station renamed ‘The Valley’, then in 1880 was named the present ‘Valley Heights’.
