Valley Heights is a small town in the Blue Mountains between Springwood and
Warrimoo. It is a historic railway town, and there is a rail museum where the
old turntable was located, just above the station. Distance from Sydney: 70 km

The station was originally built for the colonial treasurer, Geoffrey Eagar, who
lived where Valley Heights is now. The station was named Eagars Platform. In
1877, public facilities were added and the station renamed The Valley, then in
1880 was named the present Valley Heights. Check out some of the attractions
