Cundletown - Cities, Towns and Localities

Located on the banks of the Manning River, Cundletown was once one of the major centres during the times when the river was the main access route.

Today, it is the main centre for those seeking historical information about the region, with many old buildings and squares still in existence and home to the Melvie Chick Historical Museum.

The word ‘Cundle’ is said to be an aboriginal word for a plant that is know as ‘Cockspur’ and was originally ‘Cundel Cundel’.

Check out our listing of Crowdy Head accommodation, Manning Valley accommodation and Mid North Coast accommodation. In addition to our listed online travel guide information, contact the local tourism visitor centre for your destination for more attractions, tours, local maps and other information.
