Ring-tailed Lemurs at Western Plains Zoo

In the Central West of New South Wales, at the Junction of the Newell and Mitchell highways, is the thriving centre of the Western Plains area, also known as Dubbo City.
 

There are many attractions to view including Dubbo Museum, the Old Dubbo Gaol Museum, Dubbo Regional Gallery, Dundullimal, Dubbo Observatory and Dubbo Military Museum. Cottage and homestead accommodation is available.

One of Dubbo’s main attraction is the Western Plains Zoo which presents many exotic and native animals in large open exhibits, landscaped to recreate their natural habitat.

You can also visit the Dubbo City Tourist Park with a number of tourist attractions in the one place, including the Dubbo Military Museum, Jurassic Maze, Science Expo and Observatory.
