South Coast CoralsEurobodalla literally means “Land of Many Waters”. Part of the South Coast region, it starts near Batemans Bay in the north and extends to Narooma and Central Tilba in the south. Other townships situated here include Moruya, Bodalla, Tuross and the historic villages of Mogo and Nelligen.

There is over 100 kilometres of spectacular coastline and pristine hinterland along the south coast, the rugged mountains on the western edge, and the many National Parks. Montague Island is off the coast from Narooma. The township of Bodalla is located north east of Nerrigundah.

• Beachcomber Holiday Park is the first tourist park in Australia to have its own professional prehistory exhibition on site - The Fossil Hut. Opened in Easter 2006, The Fossil Hut was created by Michael Durrant, the Australian artist/palaeo-technician responsible for a new series of prehistory exhibitions located with various tourist venues across Australia. Michael is Curator of Fossils at both Australian Reptile Centre Canberra and The Alice Springs Reptile Centre, and all of Michael's museums are based upon his enormous 12,000 specimen fossil cast collection.
