Just two km east of the village of Tarana is the Evans Crown
Reserve. An area of 425 hectares, it conserves a spectacular granite
formation, with a diverse intact vegetation. With an elevation that
varies between 790 m at the Fish River boundary to 1,104 m at the
Crown Rock. The reserve is dominated by woodland and conserves a
