Katoomba SceniscenderBlue Mountains / Katoomba / 3 Sisters
• One of Sydney's popular destinations and a stopover must include the view from the Queen Elizabeth Lookout at Echo Point, across the Jamieson Valley and the famed Three Sisters. Then a drive to the Scenic World, that includes the Katoomba Sceniscender (Australia's steepest cable car), Scenic Railway (the world's steepest incline railway) and the Scenic Skyway (a horizontal gondola ride). From here there are self guided tours through the temperate rainforest.

Then you can settle in and do any one or more of the national park bush walks. The Blue Mountain National Park, also adjoins Wollemi National Park to the north and Kanangra Boyd National Park to the south.
