Only 180 km from Sydney by road, via Mount Victoria and Jenolan Caves, the
Kanangra-Boyd National Park like the adjoining
Blue Mountains
National Park offers magnificent scenic vistas. The park is an elevated,
undulating Boyd Plateau, that falls away into the labyrinth of
creeks, rivers, deep gorges and spiney ridges. This rugged
wilderness is accessible by the road from Jenolan Caves to Kanangra
Walls, allowing for easy access to vehicle-based camping,
bushwalking, and lookouts on the rim of the plateau.
