Continuing on from the Alpine Way
and starting at Khancoban and meeting
the Snowy Mountains Highway at the other end, is this stretch of road called the
Khancoban-Cabramurra Road. This road is closed during
the winter period between June and September. From
Khancoban, this scenic road passes
Bradneys Gap, Clover Flat, Tooma Reservoir, Ogilvies Creek, Tumut Pond
Reservoir, Cabramurra, Three Mile Dam, Mount
Selwyn,
until it hits the Snowy Mountains Highway very close to
Kiandra. On the roadside at the
Kiandra end of the Khancoban-Cabramurra Road, is a
mining equipment display. |
