Located
at the intersection of the Snowy Mountains Highway and the Cabramurra Road
(about 37 km from
Adaminaby), Kiandra was once a thriving gold mining town
boasting a population of some 15,000. Today it is now a depot for the RTA.
There are a number of attractions including the Kiandra Gold Rush Historical
