Located a short drive south of
Tweed Heads, is the
small township of Kingscliff, popular for its beaches, waterways, parks and
reserves. Kingscliff Beach is a long stretch of sand that provide excellent surf
breaks, great swimming in beautiful coastal scenery. Just to the south is the
coastal village of
Cabarita Beach which also offers a great place for swimming, surfing,
fishing and beachcombing. In addition there are the adjacent beaches of
Cabarita, luring holiday makers seeking a spectacular getaway location.
Kingscliff's Cudgen Creek provides a popular spot for anglers, kayakers and
swimmers, whilst the beachfront walking trails connect Kingscliff with Fingal
Head. Offshore fishing is popular with Kingscliff providing access to boat ramps
and facilities. There is a bustling shopping and dining area along Marine Parade
with some great places to have refreshment by the beach.
