Lake Keepit is two thirds the size of Sydney Harbour.
Located in the Lake Keepit State Park, just 29 km from
Gunnedah along the Oxley Highway
towards Tamworth, it is an ideal place to spend a day or
even longer. There are great amenities and some fantastic
activities that include sailing, skiing, gliding, swimming,
fishing, tennis, skating, walking trails or just relaxing
around the campsite.
Lake Keepit also offers a variety of
accommodation options that include cabins, ensuite
cabins, 2 bdrm chalet, camp-otels, camping and powered
sites. There is superb facilities including a well-stocked licensed
kiosk, selling all camping requirements. The camp kitchen is
a fantastic gathering place for families and friends, with a
fireplace, electric BBQ, sinks, tables and benches.
