Located on the Kamilaroi Highway and just off the New England Highway, Quirindi (pronounced ‘Car-in-dye’) is a service town and is referred to as the ‘Gateway to the North-West’ region.

The Quipolly area with the old Quipolly Dam is particularly renowned for its unique birdlife which is a major attraction for bird enthusiasts.
 

Quirindi also has some great sporting facilities and activities, including sports ovals, racecourse, golf course, tennis clubs, bowling greens, polo grounds etc.
