Penrith - Cities, Towns and Localities
Welcome to Penrith, located in Sydney's Greater West region. Promoted as Penrith Valley the region offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, with an array of river, mountains, lakes, unspoilt bushland, and national parks.

Set against the eastern escarpment of the spectacular Blue Mountains plateau just 5 km west of Penrith and extending across a quarter of a million hectares of native bushland, Penrith Valley is less than 60 km from Sydney's CBD, which makes it an ideal place to base yourself, from which to enjoy all that the region has to offer.

Penrith Valley also has many historic landmarks, enjoys a lively art scene, with many art galleries and museums. For those seeking some adrenalin adventure, a visit to Penrith's Whitewater Stadium is a must.
