Part of the Murrumbidgee region, the picturesque district is located half way between Sydney and Melbourne.
Wallendbeen is only 17 km north-west of Murrumburrah on the Olympic
Highway. The village was laid out after the railway arrived in 1877.
Today the produce grown in the region include wheat, canola, mustard
seed, triticale, as well as sheep, cattle and deer farming.
