Welcome to the Wollongong list of localities and suburbs.
Located on the southern outskirts of Sydney, the region of
Wollongong enjoys 30 kilometres of
fantastic coastline, with the city of Wollongong, known as the
regional capital of the Illawarra.
To the north of Wollongong is the
Royal National Park, offering
pristine heath, rainforest and coastal habitats to explore, then
follow the spectacular coast road, as it cuts into the cliff face,
passing over sites where coal mines once burrowed into the mountain.
