Yerranderie is a privately owned area whose policies are similar to a National
Park. Yerranderie Village is a private ghost town set in an historic silver
mining area, listed on the register of the National Estate and within a private
sanctuary.
It offers a variety of accommodation styles including lodge, cottage,
and camping and can be made the centre from which you can do self-guided tours
of the town, the mines, water holes. There are also conducted tours of the
museum, mine and historic buildings etc. Tours are available for bus, 4WD and
air. There is a private airstrip, which require prior arrangements with the
owner.
