Alice Springs offer a large variety of services from your supermarket such as
Coles, Woolworths, news agencies, cinema, art galleries, bakeries,
cafes and restaurants, clothing stores, as well as a number of 2nd hand outlets
including St Vinnies and the Salvos.
For those looking at staying, there are a number of real estates as well. In
fact, Alice Springs has most of the services that are found in the larger towns and
cities around Australia. |

There are three main shopping centres in Alice Springs, the Alice Plaza (Bi-Lo)
in Todd Mall, the Alice Springs Shopping Centre (sometimes referred to as the
Coles Shopping Centre), and the Yeperenye Shopping Centre (which houses
Woolworths). Other large scale stores are located on the outskirt of the town
centre.

Alice Springs has a number of places to buy your fresh fruit and vegetables,
they include the usual Coles and Woolworths in the middle of town and further
out are the smaller chains such as IGA. There is also the Alice Market Garden
located just south of Alice on Heffernan Road, well renowned for its fresh
lettuce, spinach, beetroot, a number of Asian and other vegetables. The owners
also have a stall at the Todd Mall Markets.
There are also a number of butchers, fish and chip shop (located on the
Eastside), with one of the butchers also stocking fresh seafood every Thursday
(be early as they quickly sell out).
